Clubs in the Network

They must be Sussex based, affiliated to England Athletics and affiliated to Sussex County AA. All such clubs will be automatically included in the Network and will receive information and invitations to Network events and initiatives via club secretaries.

Visit the List of Clubs page for the full list with links and contact information.

Track and Field

·        The Network aims to hold club coach and officials forums to identify development needs and improve communications between clubs for sharing of best practices.

·        Workshops and master classes will be run for coaches, and clubs encouraged to recruit more coaches, officials and volunteers.

·        Development days will be held for coaches and athletes throughout winter, and a pilot of regional Sussex, Surrey and Kent squad training programme.

Road Running / Cross Country

·        The Network will help to promote endurance running within the county in order to encourage increased participation levels.

·        By developing inter and intra-club competitions as well as mass participation programmes, there should be an improvement in the overall standard.

·        By encouraging collaboration between clubs, each should benefit from the sharing of expertise and resources.
